what is WorkLifeBliss?
We provide training and coaching on a range of topics, specialising in life balance, time management and stress management. We also provide training on topics like building resilience, improving communication and rapport, dealing with difficult people and a range of other interest areas.
In addition to the paid services that we offer to clients, we've built a strong suite of products and services that we offer for free. You can locate the free stuff here, and in our articles and through the welcome pack.
when were you established?
WorkLifeBliss in its current form was established in 2009. Prior to this, Emma Grey had been working in the field informally, since publication of her book on working motherhood in 2005.
what is coaching? how does it work?
A coaching session is 'all about you'. The focus is on where you are now, where you want to be in the future, eliminating what's been holding you back and putting in place very clear steps to reach your goals. Coaching sessions can be conducted face-to-face or over the telephone or skype. Clients are supported between sessions by email, and through the extra resources provided in writing.
is WorkLifeBliss just for mums?
No, it's for anyone with a busy life.
While the website itself is targeted mainly at women, the material in our products (our free newsletter, eBooks, coaching packages and corporate training) is carefully designed to be inclusive of men and women and those with and without children.
In the feedback we've received, men and women have responded equally positively to the material we present in workshops and seminars.
If a product is developed specifically for mums (and we have a couple), we'll be very clear about that when describing it.
what's the best way to use this site?
Start with our 'free stuff'.
New members on our mailing list can sign up for our Welcome Pack, which contains a free eBook on 'The 7 Types of Busy: how to disentangle yourself from doing too much'. Also included is subscription to our popular weekly email service, Bliss Blitz.
From there, perhaps you'd like to take our Questionnaire and work out what parts of your life you're currently happy with, and what you'd like to change. When you complete the questionnaire, you'll be sent a pack containing your responses and a free tip sheet on the 5 things you MUST know about confidence.
Access more free tools and resources on the 'Free tools' page, and read through our articles.
Move on to our eBooks
We're building a suite of affordable, high-quality, self-coaching eBooks on various topics. Each book will take you on a 'deep dive' into a particular issue - whether that's finding your life purpose, learning to be less busy, balancing your life, building your confidence or more...
Consider some coaching
Many of our clients, having been on our mailing list for a while, reach a stage where they'd like to take the next step and organise some personal coaching. Coaching packages are tailored to meet individual needs, so that clients receive maximum value from the sessions. This comes with a large list of inclusions, including all of our eBooks and a wad of extra material adapted from our successful corporate training programs.
Arrange for us to come to your workplace
Have a chat with your boss or your HR manager. Send them a link to our site and encourage them to contact us about our corporate training programs. They can find feedback from previous courses here.
Arrange for Emma speak at your event
The aim is always to reduce the audience to tears at least twice - once from laughing and once for saying something close to the heart, poignant or deeply thought-provoking. Excerpts from Wits' End Before Breakfast! are coupled with practical advice on how to 'have it all' with less drama.
is your life always perfectly balanced?
We get this one a lot, and blogged about it here.
what's next for WorkLifeBliss?
We're growing the corporate arm of our business, while continuing to offer a limited number of personal coaching packages. We keep the number small in order to keep maximum focus and attention on each of our clients.
We've planned an extensive launch program of eBooks and self-coaching programs, which will be released over the coming months.
We're also working on an exciting six-week program for executive women, which will be a combination of e-workbooks and audio CDs, with webinars.
